CPM vs Mr. Bush

Article Summary   by:danendra     Original Author: Danendra
ª

CPM''s advice to UPA government to wait for few months till Mr. Bush is replaced by other person and postpone operationalisation of nuclear deal seems absurd and unacceptable.
It may be possible, CPM hopes that successor of Mr. Bush do not accept the deal in the present form and tries to modify or cancel the same. What is the motive behind such irrelevant talks made by CPM?

Are we negotiating and signing a deal with Mr. Bush or with a country USA?

Is Mr. Bush supreme and more important than the country?

What is the guarantee that Mr. Bush will not be reelected in the next election?

Is it sure that Mr. Bush will allow India to opt for nuclear deal when he is reelected?

India
has more or less got concurrence of IAEA on nuclear deal concerning India. Now role of USA is important in NSG''s meeting. And Mr. Bush is well acquainted with India, its leaders and its approach and hence if the nuclear deal is good for us, it is desirable for India to complete the task during his tenure only. It will be risky to postpone the matter for uncertain character and approach of successor of Mr. Bush. A bird in hand is better than two in bush. It will be foolish logically to go for uncertain discarding the certain.

Secondly what is the surety that Mr. Manmohan Singh and Congress Party or UPA will regain power in the next election?

Is it sure that Left party will come to power in the next election?

If answer to these questions is in negative than what is logic of CPM for postponing the operationailisation of nuclear deal till Mr. Bush goes.

Why CPM is so much against Mr. Bush personally.

Is it because Muslim all over the world and particularly Mr. Bin Laden and his terror groups hate Mr. Bush?

It is now clear that they least bother of the country and the welfare activities of the country .They are more concerned with Muslim votes even at the cost of nuclear deal.

They are talking in the same tune as Bin Laden talks from Al Zazira TV.

Mr. Yachuri says that Mr. Bush is pressurizing India to sign deal within the timeframe stipulated by USA. They question India’s wisdom in giving more wisdom to Mr. Bush than the will of Indian people.

I want to ask one question from Mr. Yachuri and CPM as a whole whether it is only CPM which represents the will and the pulse of Indian people.

They forget that their party represents hardly 5% of India''s population. Not to speak of CPM or left parties, even Congress Party do not represent the will of more than 20% of voters. Obviously what Congress party or UPA is doing and going to do will be the view not necessarily representing the majority of Indian population or Indian voters for that matter.
