This is my point. Obama does not have much experience on the federal level, having just
recently been elected to his
first term in the Senate, having been
elected to his first term as
senator he immediately began his bid for
the presidency, preventing him from fully serving the people who
elected him, and it's easy for him to criticize Senator Clinton
and others for their early votes on Iraq, he wasn't there to vote.I
feel he's done his constituents a dis-service. He never intended to
serve them in the senate as he was elected to do. He should have, at
least one or two terms. That would have allowed him to become
significantly more experienced, and would have allowed us to have a
voting record to look at. It's real easy for him to talk about Senator
Clinton's voting record, his own is minimal. He can easily speak now
with the
benefit of hindsight. He didn't have to make the decisions of
the time with the benefit of only the information that was available
then. We don't know how he would have voted. For that matter, we don't
much about him other than what he says he'd like to do. He never gave
himself much time to do anything before running for president. A clear
statement of the problems and idea to solve them will mean nothing if
he can't implement those ideas. It may be well that he'd make a good
president one day, but it's too soon for him now.
