As U.S. political parties gear up for 2008 elections, a
Democrat party chairman in New Hampshire made a major mistake when
interviewed on C-Span Dec. 2.
While on the
campaign trail in Iowa visitng small towns, he said he was surprised at the smart questions asked by those living there.
Such a comment could only be viewed by small towners as insulting & condescending.
It''s a remark that could haunt him for the duration of the campaign.
Small town folks are among the most thoughtfulful, intelligent and independent souls.
Rather than the misguided view of this
democrat leader, people living in less populated areas, have not just fallen from turnip trucks.
They keep up with the news. They care about the future of our country.
Their lives are impacted by those selected government leaders, quite as much as city dwellers and suburbanites.
