Iraqi forces are still in Iraq and since I have never had the advantage of going there to Iraq I rely on the press to keep me up to date on what is going on with "The War". I know all about the protests worldwide at the war and its legacy but I have much to ponder on in terms of other wars such as the old Vietnam Days and what you may ask has that got to do with me!
Not at lot I hasten to add until one day the phone rang and I was invited to teach a Vietnamese Girl .... fresh from the War and she couldnt speak or write any English and took to the English Language like a typical foreigner .. she picked up the four letter words in vulgar English but didnt get to say nice pretty things until the end of my first year in teaching .... which I passed and so did she ....
Perhaps I might get an Iraqi student too who might need teaching in English probably in Education ... I await the pleasure of Her Majesty''s Government and I do have permission in advance to do it so no doubt should the opportunity arise I can take it up straightaway!
