A New Revised Police Force

Article Abstract by: ivan01

Original Author: T.J Dillon,Jamie M'Naghten
Police force''s in many countrie''s just dont seem to be working anymore,in my opinion.
The police who are supposed to
keep order and maintain the law are now more often than not breaking it themselve''s.
No more is this apparent than in the UK,where it was published recentley that the police officers dont understand the law very well.
I have an inside source (a former police officer) who tell''s me that "Its just an excuse these days for people to throw there weight around, yeah become a copper the legal right to tell people what to do".
Its not this however that bothers me so much, its the fact that the police force just doesnt work anymore.
They go on strike for more money but do they really deserve it,there very quick to arrest a homeless woman woman steeling a mars bar from a well known supermarket but when it comes to preventing the deaths of teenagers on the street they are no where to be seen, and sometimes have even showed misconduct in this same area by releasing individuals being detained who are dangerous and go on to commit horrible crimes.
So with misconduct and abuse of power claims hanging overhead is it not time the polititians thought about a new revised police force.
Around 95 percent of crimes reported and information leading to arrests coming from the public, the people paying there taxes to feel safe on the street.
Are police officers just high paid delivery boys who act on public information, pick someone up and drop them off at the police station, granted there is the risk of danger, although the police rarley seem the ones getting hurt (its the public) as police are armed and rarley alone.
over 90 percent of people dont feel safe on the streets with 30 percent not feeling safe all the time in there own homes.
Were not anarchists,we dont want or need choas just a fair system that works, one that we could feel safe with and happy to pay for.
