The new earth of
criminal activity... the internet. Crooks and
pedifiles utilize a beautiful innovation as a barely traceable crime tool. It wasn''t untill recent years did we
focus on criminal
activity conducted on line. Why is this? Did we not know enough to prepare for the possibilities? Or, were the abundance of dollar signs enough for us to ignore the preparation of proper criminal online prevention programs?
Now that we are some what up to date on the activity, our focus tends to dwell on the pedifiles and stalkers. Where is the plan to prevent scam
artists from accessing sensative, personal information, and using it against you. Where is the plan to prevent
scam artists from sending emails easily...can we not locate them and shut the door on their operation? I am not convenced enough has been done to prevent such tragic results post interaction with an internet criminal/scam artist.
