test etc. (2) Provides vehicles information and their availability: DMV can provide you information for your vehicles also like if you want to do the registration for the first time or want to renew your vehicle registration, want to do the vehicle insurance etc. Now days there are some websites also which have been designed to make the user save his time by not going to the DMV
office directly for his work. He can do online registration or get information whatever he wants directly from the website. There are two cases when you can opt for a new Driving license. One is you want to replace it (if it is not in a good condition). Second case is when the driving license has got lost. In this case when you have lost your driving license then you will be required to get a MV-78B
form from a police agency. This form you can get from Police Agencies. This form is not availed in DMV Office as it is available in Police Agencies. Application for driving license: If you want to drive anywhere in New York then you must possess a valid driving license. Without this you cannot even think of driving in New York. Not even you can make a forge duplicate driving license as it’s a huge crime there. As mentioned above you can apply for a driving license by filling up a form which you can get from any police agencies but not from DMV office. If you want to drive vehicles other than car and motor cycles then you would require commercial driving license for that. Application for the License for the first time: DMV Office provides registration to a new license for the first time. For this you need To bring your application form duly filled to the DMV Office. The form should have your name, your date of birth. For all these things you must have valid and true proofs You need to fill the application fees also with your form. This is in your favor only for the sake of your own safety that you provide the valid and true information regarding you name, address and address proof. Some common proof documents that you can bring forward as your identification are your password, your identity card, your birth certificate, your high school certificate, your insurance policy, your health insurance card. After applying through filling up form and submitting fees you are required to pass few tests. Two types of tests are available there for your testing. One is Vision and second is written test. For qualifying in vision test you should have 20/40 eye range. If you don’t qualify for this then you can talk to the DMV Office. Second test is a type of written test. In written test you are asked to give answers of some questions like meaning of road signs, safety driving techniques, Traffic rules etc.,. There are a particular number of questions which you require to correct to pass the test other wise you will get failed.
