The democratic party seems in a bit of a dilemna lately. They have an African-American candidate, Barrack Obama vs a woman candidate Hilliary Clinton. The problem it appears some seem shy to endorse Mr. Obama. They according to an article on today's internet news find his ethnic origin may prove hard to get votes in certain demographics.
The man has the lead in popular votes, delegates, and is attractive to many super delegates. Senator Clinton's recent victory in Pennsylvania some say really hurt the man. More mud was slung by the Clinton campaign than most folks found bearable. Have we become a nation so blinded by issues of the past we can not see the future? One of these candidates will be the Democratic nomination for president against John McCain. That is a given.
It is about time according to many in the powers to be that issue is settled. As long as both candidates continue on the path they are following the longer voters will look at McCain as the better choice. It is better to be united and strong than divided and weak. It is about time Howard Dean and the DNC and democratic party as a whole open thier eyes and face reality. The More that is made of race, the Less that is heard about the issues. It is their job now to convince American voters who the real candidates are not by sex or race.
