Charles Tylor, the brutal liberian warlord comes from an elite family in Liberia. the country that was concieved in 1816 by a group of glergymen, congressmen, and judges. As a place for free slaves who wanted to return to Africa. Taylor was sent to Boston as an economic student expatriate, he meet Bernice Emanuelle in Dorchester neighborhood, Boston through a friend and became his live in girlfriend for 8 years and she bore him 3 children, Michael, Zoe and Chucky in 1977. iN 1980 Taylor returned yo Liberia at the time of a coup by a small band of army officers. Taylor was a canny opportinist, he married one of the generals's nice and he got a bigger position in the new coup government. He made a lot of wealth out of this poistion and surrounded himself with bodyguards and still remained a great influence to his kids bac in America. he called Emmanuelle to jin him in Liberia but she refused like the rest of the Americans, she thought that Africa was backward. When accusation started to come on Taylor for embezzling more that $1 million money of the state, he fled to the US, where he spent some times between, New Jersey, Staten Island and Boston but he always provided for his kids. In 1984 He was arrested by the US marshals on extradiction request from the Liberian goverment but Taylor escaped the Plymout Jail in Massachusetts helped by a car theif, he never returned to America neither to his children leaving Emmanuelle devastated but she moved on with her life and got married to Roy Belfast and relocated to Florida where she raised up Chucky the hip hop loving kid, with a turntable, mixer and set of massive speakers in his crib. Chucky loved hip hop, he spent so many hours rapping, mixing hoping that one day he will cut his own record and knew nothing about Africa like many American teens. whilst his father was drifting in prisns in Ghanna and Sirra Leone and Muammar el-Qadaffi' Paramilitary training. In the Christmas Eve of 1989 Taylor emerged from the bushes as a leader with a small band of guerrillas under his head, he recruited child solders. The following month Chucky changed his name to Roy Belfast jnr legally. but Taylor remained closer to his children. Chucky asked Emmanuel and the family to visited him in Gharbanga outside Monrovia. Chucky returned to American as a changed boy, he started drinking, smoking pot. he become mean, intimidating and was a badboy carrying guns. At 16 he was arrested, when he was 17 they tried to mug a teenage boy and they pointed a gun at the victim' father and Chucky was arrested, he with four charges of felonies. Tired of her son behaving bad, Emmanul called Taylor in Liberia to take Chucky. He saw it as a solution for him to escaping his madness. Chucky fled the US to liberia as fugitive from justice. Taylor sent him to a college in Ghana but he was kicked out because of his drug problems. Chucky called his high school girlfriend to join him in Liberia and they got married. After 8 years of war, Taylor was elected the president. Chucky had adopted to his new environment, donning tardition dress, spoke a synthax of Liberian English to an extent that nobody could recognise that he was an American but he kept his gangstar swagger he had growing up in Orlando, and rocked cornrows. Chucky looked for some business interest including timber trade but final he set up an bootcamp likeAnti-Terrorsit Unit to protect his father' power which was under threat from the rebles which wanted to unseat him. Chucky recruited child soldiers, tried by mercenaries. He became a blood tyrant like his father, killed, beheaded, tortured and slit throat of his suspected enemies, melted plastics on their genitals. women were raped. He traded in blood diamonds. he worked with arms dealer from Israel. He was a feared figure among his subjects. Becuase of this his marriage to Hendersson was bruised and they divorced in 2002, she returned to America.By the summer of 2003, a fierce fighting errupted and Taylor was forced to stepped dwon and he accepted exile in Nigeria and Chucky followed him there.Chucky traveled to Paris, London and South Africa. In 2005, he recorded hip hop tracks in Trinidad. in March 2006 the Nigeria authorities arrested his father on extradition for war crimes in The Hague. Chucky took a flight home, Florida but he was arrested on arrival by the immigration agents for war crimes like his father, if convicted he will face life imprisonment
