leading political parties and their leaders—both regional and national – can openly compete to make real the inalienable rights of the minorities, why not at least one party stand for the beliefs, culture and rights of the majority community? If the entire political parties and the entire media can stand for the minorities (13-14%) of the Indian population, why not a political party stand for the majority community?
And BJP vouchsafe that they do not stand for the interests of any group but it stands for national interests, for the Indian culture and psyche. It is the only party which appreciates the sentiments of the majority community and no one else.
No one can tarnish or even speak against any belief or god of a minority community. But any Dick and Harry can abuse, tarnish or even publicly belittle any Hindu God or belief. But can anyone in India do so with regard to religion of a minority?
Our ancient Indian culture has been distorted over the years and so many have been forcibly converted with a sword or by coercion or with both. Until a few centuries back there were only Indians—Hindus, Buddhists and Jains—peace loving people who imbibed the Indian philosophy evolved here. With the Moslem conquest (and later with the colonialists) started the conversions and the evolution of the present all powerful minorities.
Can the Hindus try to convert the minorities into their religion? The heaven will fall down!
There are a pantheon of leaders like Mulayam, Laloo, Paswan, Mayawathi and a host of the Congress leaders standing with the minorities. There are only a few leaders like Advaniji and Rajnath Singh who try for the establishment of our culture and to restore the Indian psyche. The time is not far when their voice will be heard and listened to.
