The majority community of India, the Hindus have been peace loving and quite. They have been so for millenniums. They believed
in non-violence and Ahimsa.
Further they have always welcomed those of other religions who flee their motherland due to one reason or another. Thus they gave shelter to the Parsis when they were persecuted in Persia. The Jews found a safe haven here centuries back. The Moslems and
Christians were allowed to come here and spread their religion and establish their places of worship.
But the political parties in India-every one of them except perhaps BJP- are vying with each to please the Moslems and Christians in the name of
secularism. They feel that is secularism. They are shedding crocodile tears for them. The minorities in India are a privileged class. They enjoy every right possible. They are militant and take up arms at the slightest provocation. But the majority community reacts only when prodded beyond a point. The former have sown the seeds of discord in his land and made the land one of strife and violence
