No idea about Shunglu report: Dikshit

Shiela Dixit is probably thinking of getting away from the accusation of corruption mentioned in the Shunglu Committee report submitted to the Prime Minister by flattering the party high-command. That is why she is not answering any question of the media at the moment. Thank God the committee was appointed by the PM himself soon after the closure of the Common Wealth Games, otherwise this corrupt chief minister would have sung a different tune in front of the media people. Allegations against her did not come without basis; it is after probing only the committee named her and the Delhi Lt. Governor as culprits in the 900 crores waste of taxpayer’s money. She seems to be shameless; otherwise she would have sent her resignation immediately with a protest, and lodged complaint of defamation against appropriate people like members in the Shunglu Committee and media. Instead she refused to accept anything about the report. It is obvious that without the consent of high ranking politicians other officials could not have done so much wrong in awarding contracts to pet people.
The committee’s two reports one on the Games Village and the other on the city’s infrastructure development for the sports event have indicted Shiela Dixit, Tejinder Khanna, Delhi Government, its agencies, and central agencies.

Since the Prime Minister also belongs to the same party as that of Shiela Dixit, it would be difficult for him to take honest and appropriate action against her immediately. Anyway we have to wait to see the action of the Prime Minister in this respect.
