Aarushi: Court issues warrants against Talwars
Arushi Talwar, the daughter of Rajesh and Nupur Talwar was not murdered in an isolated place outside their home, where the police reached after getting information fairly quickly, yet the double murder case could not be solved in almost three years time. At one point of time, the investigation agency CBI wanted to close the case for want of conclusive proofs that they said were destroyed by the earlier investigation team as well as people present in the house. The public and media pressure forced the court to carry on with the case, and now it has issued bailable warrants of Rs. 20,000 each against the parents shows some significance in the case. The court in Ghaziabad issued the warrant, discarded the exemption appeal of personal present in the court, and set the next date of hearing on 22 March. Although the CBI repeatedly insisted the absence of conclusive evidences for the case to continue, the court thought otherwise. It is confident of running the case with available evidences that it thinks sufficient for the trial against the parents. CBI earlier expressed its opinion on the case indicating Rajesh and Nupur strongly as the suspects.
