Elite
forces are military units formed and trained to carry out missions of
unconventional warfare, anti-terrorism, reconnaissance, direct action,
and defense abroad.
Special
forces typically consist of a small group of highly trained, armed with
special weapons, which work independently, and with the close
cooperation.
The selection process was very difficult to enter the elite troops, and training usually exceed two years.

All About Forces
Special
Forces were shortened to Kopassus is part of the Army Defense Center

Structural differences with other infantry units

Number of personnel
Due
