Before being globally known with the bestsellers "Above Any Suspects" and "The Obligation of the Proof", the author exercised lawyer''s profession, graduated by the oldest and the most respected university of law in the United States, the Harvard Law School. In this biographical report of the first year in the institution, he reveals the events, the challenge, the exhausting study, the victories and how was challenged his honesty and his priciples. He reveals differences in the system of juridical education, beginning for the socratic method: they are not discursive classes, the teachers determine that are studied causes, to interrogate them in class. The author maintained a diary along the year and several times he reproduced passages when his thoughts seemed clear and important. Without worrying with the result, he produced a coherent report with the circumstances of the year, demanding, gratifying and turbulent. He also mentions, in spite of the critics, his pride of being a student of Harvard Law School, which since its foundation in l817, through their graduate ones, it has been exercising impact in the growth of the law and of the legal profession.
