What's taking place in the Philippines is making people's lives difficult. After the scams a crisis now follows. Not a word about the
scam can be heard in the T.V. because the rice
crisis is the most favored subject. I can understand the reason of this. It is because everyone is so affected by it that some have resorted to panic buying in the fear that there will be no more rice left in the market. I told myself that it will soon be over. It feels insurmountable alright but it sure will pass away.
Trials and testings test our faith. But miracles happen. There's nothing we can do except wait it out and pray hard for our ailing country.
President Arroyo assures us that everything is in control. Good. Let her do the best she can to keep the economy afloat. I can't help thinking that this is the result of the
corruption that is being done inside the administration in which she denies any knowledge.
I feel regretful and sad at the state the nation has come. Many presidents had come and gone but none of them really made a difference. We are still far below from being a rich nation. Why is that? There are many reasons that contribute to it and anyone can only count them all. The most important of them is that
government officials failed to perform the way they should. Instead ,corruption seems to be the only thing that possesses them. Almost all officials have been linked to one form of corruption in their tenure.
When everything passes away another one will take their place and so the cycle begins again. There's nothing sensible left in the wake of Philippine government except the cycle of corruption going on and on. Will it never end? Sad to say but true.
I takes God's power to be faithful. We have to take courage. There is a God who rewards those who do good and who punishes who deserved to be punished. That is the only sure thing I can say.
