I suppose the news that the former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone is now no longer in the job and there is a new man taking his place affects the poetry I write! I often wondered whether or not what the Army mentioned was in fact correct as they were feeling rather left out of things as Ken seemed to be anti army and against everythiing they stood for ... someone said at a party that the Army must be on the opposing side to Ken Livingstone former Mayor of London.
However welcome to the new man in the job/Boris Johnston Conservative ... I suppose he has won a battle but not the war ss Labour is still in Government in the UK!
What it takes out of poetry I am still unsure of but I hope that the relationship between the present incumbent i.e. Mayor of London and this London Poet will continue .. great work in London!
