India is funding Taliban fighters, claims Pakistan
Pakistan’s repeated attempts to malign India
had failed in the past and this time too it would see the same fate. Taliban, the
terrorist group, is now on the run to inflict wounds on Pakistan, the country from which it got enormous help. The same Taliban is getting help from India is the allegation of Rehman Malik, the Interior Minister of Pakistan. Rehman in earlier instances blamed India based on blatant lies to subvert Pakistan government’s hands in glove with the extremist organizations.
Can Malik deny the fact that there are so many terrorist training camps in Pakistan? Can he deny the fact that the US is banging on the terrorist hideouts situated on the remote hills of Pakistan? Can Rehman deny the fact that Pakistan can survive without the presence of US military in his country? I am sure he wouldn’t have any answer of these simple facts that is well known all over the world. Why the country is not thinking in a prudent direction for the betterment of that country, instead of intending to survive on India bashing factor?
The people of Pakistan, I suppose, are peace loving, but the irony is that the leaders of the country are self-interest oriented people, who are least bothered about the common people. India is funding Taliban
fighters based on the border of Pak-Afghanistan is the accusation he has, and on that he boldly told the media men that he is ready to confront any Indian emissary in Pakistan. He is even ready to show Indian counterpart proofs of his allegation. Is it necessary for him to disclose the proof of India’s involvement in the funding of Talibans to the Indian counterpart? What stops him to do that in an international press conference, which would make him a hero in front of the people of Pakistan? In addition, with that he can prove that the international community blames Pakistan biasedly all the time.
India is trying to destabilize Pakistan, he commented. What destabilization he is talking about? The country is destabilized since its inception for the last more than 62 years. What more destabilization is left for India to complete?
We the common people of India would be more than happy to know if India is involved in any kind of collusion with the terrorist groups. The people here would not spare the government with that type of activity with the public money, and would resist it with full force. Our democracy is strong enough to press the government unlike Pakistan.
