Congress disowns Koda legacy at outset of Jharkhand campaign
Congress is now singing the reverse tune,
which is the most common way of maintaining safe distance from Koda episode. They cannot deny the fact that with their support, he only indulged these corrupt practices, and they did not have any knowledge about it. Isn’t it funny?
Whatever
Madhu Konda practiced is with the line of almost all politicians, except the difference that Konda had little experience to grab public money through malpractices compare to other seasoned politicians. Congress may disown him, but it is hard to believe that he alone amassed the wealth without any knowledge of the party with whose support he would not have been to power. Keshav Rao, the congress in-charge of Jharkhand, said the reason for support to Koda government was to expect good work by him. That makes no sense because letting loose the man do anything without any checking is a third class excuse. The forth-coming Jharkhand election had made congress issuing statements to clear them away from the Konda
corruption, as this would affect the election result. The party now is looking to Jharkhand Vikas Party for an alliance on the ground that its chief Babulal Marandi is honest, clean, and a former chief minister. Didn’t they know anything about Konda before deciding to make him chief minister for the first time? In addition, did they give the support without any interest whatsoever, which is what they are telling now?
