Hi! everyone .Currently a debate is going on in India over the issue on the death of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.Let me give a brief history of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as many staying out of India will not know much about him.
This great hero Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897 at Cutaack ,Orissa ,India.His father Rai Bahadur Janakinath Bose, was a prominent lawyer of Cuttack, Orissa. His mother was Prabhavati Boseremarkable an example of an Indian pious lady.he took up his early studies at The European Protestant Collegiate School .Then for higher studies he went to The Presidency College in Kolkata. After he completed his graduation he went to England for India to give the Indian Civil Service Examination.As at that time as you may know many revolutions were going against the British Government in India for the struggle if independence.Many patriots gave their life to make their country independent from the merciless Britons.So,inspite of getting chance in the Indian Civil Service Examination he rejected from getting admitted for that service as he loved and respected all the patriots and his country Mother India.
So he returned to India and took up with politics.On October 27, 1927 he became the president of the Bengal Comission Committee.As he posed a serious threat for the British Government he was imprisoned in jail many times.On 1930 after a year imprisonment he became the mayor of the Calcutta Corporation.
At that time in India there were two types of revolution going.One was a revolution accompanied with ahimsa or non violence which was led by Gandhiji and the other type of revolution was that with violence and this was led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.Then Netaji took part in the Second Round Table Conference.
For strengthening his position he allied with Indian revolutionaries and European socialists supporting India's Struggle for Independence.Netaji met a person named Mussolini and then he made Vienna as his headquarters.Netaji also appreciated the discipline and unity strength of the Nazis.
As time went away Gandhi and Netaji became friends and so Gandhi helped Netaji to be elected as the president of the Indian National Congress in 1938.
But this was not a good fable for a long time .Soon a bad dream came for Netaji.Gandhi and Nehru went against him as he was slightly tilted towards the leftist.But still he got help from countries like Japan and Germany.According to Netaji's idea he wanted to prepare India
to advance to the Industrial Age fro the Village Industry but Gandhi and Nehru opposed.
He went on to make India's first own army "The Azad Hind Fauz" which was a very renowned and famous army of all time.It was the first army to include woman as a part of the force.He also made his own political party named "The Forward Block".
One of the good quality of Netaji was that he never distinguished between hindu and muslim.Because of this quality his Azad Hind Fauz became famous.
Now ,it is believed that Netaji died in a plane crash at Taipei on August 18,1945.On this very point the Justice M K Mukherjee Comission prepared a report which said that the rumour that Netaji was killed in the air crash in Taipei was spread by the Japanese to help him to escape from allied forces.But the government rejected the report and told that Netaji was the victim of the plane crash.
One of the proof that Netaji never died in the plane crash is that there was no air crash in Taiwan between 18th August,1945 ,other than a transporter that went down on September 20.
Another proof is that Netaji's driver 102 year old Nizamuddin told that two tree months after 18th August,1945 he himself left Netaji on the river banks of Sitangpur near the Burma-Thnd border.
It is also believed that many people saw Netaji disguised as Gumnami Baba in Faizabad.
Because Netaji was a great leader he was given the title Netaji.
From all this proofs it is obvious that Netaji didn't died in the plane crash.For me he is immortal.He is my god.It is sad to see that the government of India doesn't declares his birthday as a national holiday.If only had our country's political leaders supported him our country could have been an advanced and a free country.
I wrote this article inorder to expose out to the people some facts about this great hero.I want people to know him again.I want that Netaji lives again in peoples mind and heart.So, please read my article and post comments on this.
