Before I discuss about the disgusting attitude shown by the UMNO leaders in Penang, I would like to show you
guys a video on a press
conference with Lim Guan Eng. The Penang Chief Minister said:-
1. He hopes Penang in four years from now would be more dynamic.
2.Hopes Penang can attract more value-added
investments.
3.Shared prosperity amongst Penangites.
4. Assured that there would be no witch-hunts on those who fail in the previous government either involve themselves in corruption or their disability to carry out their responsibility.
5.Assured Penang Malays that they WILL NOT be marginalised.
6. Government projects will be of open tender & done in a transparent manner
7. He said that the NEP was GOOD, but it has only benefited some and many more Malays are still poor
AND MOST OF ALL :- URGE PENANGITES TO TREAT THE NEW PENANG GOVERNMENT AS FRIENDS AND NOT ENEMIESThis is the Video of the press conference with Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng:
NOW...
Let us see what the UMNO leaders have to say...
(A short Article taken from The Star)
Call to scrap mega projectsPENANG: The state Umno will “persuade” the Federal Government to scrap all the mega projects in the state in view of the people’s clear rejection of Barisan Nasional.
Since Penangites do not want development, the Federal Government should not force it on them, said state Umno liaison committee secretary Datuk Azhar Ibrahim.
He said that this was not Penang Umno taking revenge “but we are actually giving the people what they want”.(WHO SAID WE DON"T WANT DEVELOPMENT! ACCEPT IT PLEASE, WHAT WE DO NOT WANT IS YOU! )
Struggle continues: Azhar (third from left), Abdul Rashid (left) and other Penang Umno leaders showing their fighting spirit after the emergency meeting on Thursday. — Bernama
“They voted for change, so let us see what the DAP can do,” he said after the party’s emergency meeting at Menara Umno yesterday.
Azhar, who is Penaga assemblyman, was appointed the state Opposition Leader at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Umno liaison committee deputy chief Datuk Abdul Rashid Abdullah hit out at the new administration for its decision not to practise the New Economic Policy (NEP).
I saw the coverage of this story in the news yesterday & would like to show all of you guys how sore losers responds. Their video is much interesting but too bad I couldn''t track them online.
As soon as I knew of this respond by the UMNO Penang leaders, I feel very disappointed as well as VERY GRATEFUL. I am disappointed because I didn''t expect our Penang UMNO leaders to react in such a disgusting way. What poor maturity they have shown to us and this is the kind of leaders we voted for the past few decades. They seemed uneducated and indeed untamed as well as unmannered.
I''m also very grateful because deep in my heart I''m saying,"luckily our government leading us has change hands & OFF they(the Penang UMNO leaders) go!"
