Over the years I have observed a trend during Presidential Nomination process. As most people become distant
by the mud slinging between political candidates, the debates become obscure and jumbled. They start to talk about morality and how it effects the persons judgment, but by the time the person gets into office all bets are off. You thought you were betting on the best person for the job and you wind up being disappointed when they don''t listen to your opinion. So who do you vote for?I was one of the masses who thought that Al Gore was a mistake for President and wound up voting for Bush. Who else could I vote for? After all, I wanted my vote to count. But, just like his father, we went through the slow and tedious political maneuvering, just to go after the people responsible for 9-11. And, now that we have dislodged a dictator form Iraq, we can seem to get the insurgents under control sot that we may exit the country quietly. I have come to the conclusion that we will be an occupying force just like after WW2 in Germany for 50yrs. Now, how can we the people make the political body known that we are sick and tired of the same old stupid mistakes they make year after year. After all, we voted out the Democrates because they were spending like there was no tomorrow and the the Republicans did the same so we kicked them out and now the Democrates are back to it again. They thought it was a mandate to spend on their favorite political projects on both sides of the Political
debate. Where''s the sanity? Now it is coming time for the
08'' Presidential Election and once again we are stuck with the question, "Who is the best candidate?" For now the only thing that I am sure of is that no one in Politics should be the President. After all, at the end of the day, they just want to spend our money.
