Priyanka Chopra caught in Rs 6 cr tax evasion net
The income tax raid that was carried out just three days ago in Priyanka Chopra’s Versova residence has revealed she has evaded tax to the tune of 6 crore rupees. The authorities in the IT Department has informed that the preliminary scrutiny has found she has assets worth more than rupees six crore outside the account she provided. The checking of documents is not yet over and the final outcome would be given once it is done. The unaccounted assets are in various forms, the sources said. The news has been confirmed by the Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) B P Gaur.
The other places where the raids were done simultaneously are Katrina Kaif, Atul Kasbekar, the Matrix and the Bling talent management companies. Priyanka’s secretary Chand Mishra’s house too was raided at the same time.
