Linis Kalye Part 1
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”
From the organizer of “Libreng Sakay” and “Linis Ilog” programs,
comes another PRAY fun
service in our God blessed territory. Picking up trashes is a simple
way of taking care of our environment as a responsible citizen and a
good model to our fellow youth. Non-biodegradable trashes are gathered
by our youth at the town proper of Lucban, Quezon, led by the Prestigious
Responsible Adventist Youth, last August 4, 2011, Wednesday,
5:30 P.M.
After the school activities of our youth, we’ve started the first
season of our “Linis Kalye” program. It’s a light rainy day but we
still manage to clean some streets and finished it before the Midweek
Prayer Meeting.
Linis Kalye Part 2
Serving the community through a cleanup drive led by the Prestigious
Responsible Adventist Youthbecame
another remarkable event together with our fellow leaders. Started
with the drawing and coloring bonding at Macatangay’s Residence,
Miramonte Subdivision, Lucban, Quezon, 3:00 P.M. August 12, 2011,
Friday. Our devotional started at 3:42 P.M. Sis. Princess G. de Luna,
President, PRAY, led our singspiration and Sis. Danae Peraz, President,
AMiCUS Banahaw Chapter in our opening prayer. Bro. Kenneth E.
Macatangay, Founder, PRAY, gave the welcome remarks and our special
number is given by Sis. Vernelle Joy D. Limbagan, Secretary, Music
Affairs, PRAY.
We are blessed that afternoon for an inspiring message of our guest
speaker, Adventist Youth Director, Southern-Asia Pacific Division,
Pastor Jobbie Yabut. Followed by short acquaintances, snacks and
refreshments. We also have some video tapings led by Bro. Jeff Walter
Credo, AY Leader, Lucban SDA Church.
Our “Linis Kalye Part 2” started at 5:15 P.M. there are trashes to
take, but we also have something to give, like 1 box of Signs of the
Times,
materials from Pastor Jobbie Yabut. We also have stickers promoting
the awareness of our neighborhood about the cleanliness of our
surroundings, materials from the Municipal Hall of Lucban,
Quezon. Full support of Bro. Ronnie D. Racasa, ACS Director, Lucban
SDA Church, is greatly appreciated.
Giving of tracts and stickers, while picking up trashes on highways
and streets at the town proper of Lucban, Quezon. After the program,
we’ve dined together, did some preparations and attended the Vesper
Program at Lucban, SDA Church.
