Character, by Oxford dictionary
means, ‘Strength and originality in a person’s Nature’. Another term is for it
is ‘The qualities that make a person different from other people’. Destiny, by
the Oxford dictionary means, ‘The events that will happen to a person in the
future’.
A very famous proverb is
‘Character is Destiny’. It means that if one is not loyal to any of his
relations, his future will never bear good fruits to him. His infidelity is his curse. Contrary, if one
is loyal to his or her relations-their future will always be happy and
peaceful.
Examples are in various contexts.
If a person is not loyal to his work in any field, he or she will never prosper
financially. If a person is tempted to bribes, as he can, he will be happy for
a short time, but the money is intangible and does not last long for his future
desires. Money is the big thing these days but if one can live honestly,
nothing like it. It is very difficult to lead a simple life, in this world of
showbiz.
In relationships, between a man
and a woman this proverb has lost value, of late. Many people these days are
left with no character. The youth has a completely different outlook towards
relations in their personal life, these days. Marriage is something in which
some do not believe at all. It is purely subjective based on their experiences
and the world around them.
Here I would like to state that if
a partner is not loyal to the other one in marriage, he or she will not be
happy. Extra marital affairs are common these days. It happens all over the
world, but an Indian wife or husband from a decent family will bear the pain of
his disloyalty in every case. Of late this trend is also changing.
