bloomers. She shows you how to measure each part of the body that you will need
measurements from. Then she shows you how to lay out the fabric and where to
cut using the measurements you took. Evange carefully explains in what widths

After you cut the fabric Evange demonstrates where exactly
you will need to sew to construct the bloomers. Then finally she tells you how
to add the elastic to the bloomers. These examples are explained and shown in

Ok, I have been wanting to make a pair of bloomers for my 9 yr.
old niece so that she can wear under dresses when she plays and her underwear
won’t show but I didn’t know how to sew them and was reluctant to try without

Though the finished product is a pair of plain bloomers in
the Victorian style you can easily create different styles by using more colorful
fabric, adding lace or ribbons. This tutorial is good if you want to make Victorian,
