Raagi (Millets) Powder Soup

Personal Experience Review   by:haraki

Raagi soup is very good and gives body cooling during summer. it also is very good for diabetic people to have early in the morning. Ragi looks similar to mustard seeds and we can get power in all super markets.  it is an indian product.

Method of preparation:
boil 1 litre of water and add 1 tea spoon of salt to water. By the time water starts boiling, you can prepare batter of 3 to 4 table spoons of ragi powder with 20 to 30 ml of water and this batter should be added to the boiling water. keep stirring till the mixture starts boiling again. simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, let the soup cooked properly. Once this mixture is cool, mix with buttermilk in the proportion of  1/4th buttermilk, 3/4th ragi mixture, or according to taste. it is really filling, gives strength, cooling to body and also controls diabetes.

Ita traditional beverage in india and i would like to share to all my friends.
