The blazing row about Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York and her and her crew's secret filming of
mentally handicapped children continues to dominate the headlines in the Turksih Digest blogged
this morning. The latest development is that Sarah has been warned that she should attend the
next court hearing in Turkey but the Duchess was not available for a comment and her case in
Turkey is being handled by a Turkish lawyer called Cansu Sahin. There is some discussion
presented in this latest report from the Turkish Digest that Sarah Duchess of York is prepared
to make a settlement but so far there has been no comment again from the Duchess of York
in this connection. These reports are quoted from CNN Turk and are filling all the space in this
blog from the Turkish Digest.
Ferguson holds the title as ex wife of Britain's Prince Andrew ... and again it is stressed in this
report contained in Turkish Digest that Ferguson was not present at the Turksih Court and
"She signalled she would not return to face trial" and the offences carry a sentence of up to
22 years and six months ...
All this filming apropos illegally occurred in 2OO8 and it must have crossed my holiday in
Istanbul October 2OO8 and I must admit it must have been going on behind the scenes but
I was busy on my book;

As a former examiner who practised here in the UK and Turkey I was relieved to get it done on time
for publication deadlines and I do hope in retrospect that this case with the Duchess sorts itself
out quickly as time costs! a lot of money!
