Muhammmed Ali and Marilyn Munroe: Loaned to the Dulwich Picture Gallery in
South London from the Bank of America .... the Collection includes a self portrait of the
pop artist who died in 1987 as well as images of Superman and The Marx Brothers.
Ian Dejardin of the Dulwich Picture Gallery said - Andy Warhol and The Portfolio is the
perfect Exhibition for the Olympic summer.
Visitors are expected to flock to the Gallery to see it: Warhol as never before.
Rena De Sisto the global artist and culture executive at the Bank of America: Merrill Lynch said:
"We are thrilled".
The Exhibition is at one of London's "most beautiful spaces"
Speaking of beautiful spaces I was inspired to write a play or a script for the team of the
2OOO deal and it was wonderfully well received and so much so that I started sending it out
to potential broadcasting services in the hope that they would put it on television or the radio.
But the Play was never aired so that colleagues insisted that it must be like Joyces ULYSSES
a sort of banned script as it had all the hallmarks of a great artistic success so that was why
I was encouraged to submit.
My boss in Istanbul was upset as he felt : Oh! No! not that again ... we have been down this
road before and it will never happen" Myself the optimist however did get our partnered play
REFERENCES published in America but that is so recent that he is still in a state of shock.
And even though he believes it, it took such a lot of his life and mine that even to this day;
we are both speechless! Hard work PAYS UP!
