Getting paid for writing is every author's ambition and it certainly is mine but when one is separated from one's
readership of 6,OOO students its hard to get a firm footing back and the complaints from my friend
The Professor would make your hair stand on end.
So, imagine my surprize and delight when I was invited to write for IATEFL and I submitted my poem
to online IATEFL Harrrogate England in 2O1O and my poem is "Chateau View" and its published in the UK
by Forward Press in a book which is kept at the British Library in London.
I did not disappoint my readers thus the story behind the story of reaching out to the TEFL readers
who are far and wide and are situated across the country. Even in the most terrible weather we
have managed here in Southampton to keep going at it even though its just an hour a week or
whatever turns up we can take it in our stride!
Also I have recently discovered that my poem "Under the Sod" is published in the National
Anthology: Bright Voices by United Press London so its not "sorry" but "welcome poetry"
The breeze and I go spinning by

Locked
In the arms of destiny
So it seems and its a piece of good luck to discover some good news about my work as a poet
as even as I sit, the letters keep pouring in through the letter box: Hard work does pay UP!
I am always glad, always eager to offer Congratuations to great artists who receive recognition throughout
the world and here in the UK and there is not a day that passes that we dont hear about the great success
of these talented people; or the celeb writers who go on in spite of their trials and tributations and we are
inspired by the great artists of our day, so much so that we kneel at their feet it seems forever!
