KES pupils in Student Investor Final .In the national student investor final held in London recently the
King Edward Vl School's "Tenacity" team of Rikhil Ohri, Nikhil Ohri, Andy Pennycuick and Nick Brown came agonisingly close to being crowned national champions. The Southampton school's team came second of the eight teams on the day having fought their way to the final against a total of over 1O,OOO teams. Their presenetation on "Implementing responsible capitalism" came in for special praise from the judges delivered as it was with great panache, professional slides and completely without notes. Guests on the day included Faisal Islam, the economics correspondent for Channel 4 news, and Paul Fisher frm the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee. The team's second place earned them silver medals, a prize of £15O each and £1,5OO for the school:
