Anorexic people can develop this disease early in life, usually in their teens. Psycological problems cause this condition. Severe neglect from one parent may tigger this illness. The person with this disease stops eating and loses his body fat as a result, then he dies from starvation. Bulimia is similar to anorexia, in that the person who suffers from it makes himself vomit after a meal and eventually dies from mal-nourishment rather than starvation.
