To observe therapeutic effects of Penyanning (PYN) on chronic
pelvic infection of rats induced by a mixture of bacterium
suspension. Mehod: Chronic
pelvic infection of rats was caused by injection of a mixture of bacteriums suspension into injured womb. Result: The results showsed that after 30 days of model induction and 28 days of therapeutic ig Penyanning, mucosa epidermis of uterus of model rats was notably spoiled and denaturalized. Connective tissue hyperplasia and inflammatory cell soakage of mucodermal and muscular layer of mucosa occurred obviously. Muscular layer arranged in disorder. There exist somewhat adherence and congestion in uterus cavity, and scattered inflammatory cell soakage in chorion layer. Many of indexes of hemorheology such as all blood viscosity, flow resistance, Carson stress, red blood pressure and red blood electrophoresis duration etc, were
significantly increased. Thrombus length, wet weight and dry weight in vitro were significantly increased. Thrombus length, wet weight and dry weight in vitro were significantly increased. Three doses of PYN improved these pathological changes of uterus in various degree. Treatment of PYN significantly reduced cases of mucosa epidermis cell pecrosis and denaturalization, and mucodermal and muscular layer of uterus. Extent of pathological changes significantly decreased. Adherence and congestion in uterus cavity, and scattered inflammatory cell soakage in chorion layer were not observed. High and middle dosages of PYN significantly improved indexes of hemorheology. Thrombus length and wet weight were significantly reduced. Conclusion: Chronic pelvic infection model of rats made by injecting of mixture of bacteriums suspension into injured womb is successful and feasible. There exist remarkable therapeutic effects of PYN on chronic pelvic infection of rats induced by entrance of extra substances into uterus.
