Purpose To investigate the general pharmacology of
Fufangshuizhijing capsule.MethodsTo examine effect on the blood pressure,
the
electrocardiogram, the breathing, the nervous system when given
Fufangshuizhijing capsule in the different decoctions by animal experiment. Simultaneously, compared with the control group.ResultsFufangshuizhijing capsule could improve the levels of systolic pressure(SBP) while heart rate was slowed down and breathing range was deepened in the anaesthetized dogs that were given decoction of Fufangshuizhijing capsule above average on 5.7 g/kg or 11.4 g/kg within the duodenum. Fufangshuizhijing capsule reduced number of times about free movement in rat and influenced the coordination movement when it was taken on 5.7 g/kg or 11.4 g/kg. It is obviously differente compared with the control group or 2.85 g/kg near clinical direction dosage.But effects of the electrocardiogram and the respiratory rate in anaesthetized dogs or hypnosis of the rats with the threshold value dose of pentobarbital were not obvious.ConclusionAbove the dose, Fufangshuizhijing capsule could improve fixed blood pressure, slow fixed heart rate, deepen fixed breathing range and keep fixed calmness on experimental animal. Proved Fufangshuizhijing capsule is safe on 9 g/60(kg·d) of clinical direction dosage.
