Objective:Inquire into the action and mechanism of
ICAM-1 and PLA 2 in the course of asthmatic incidence,and the effect
to them by the prescription and medicine of strengthening
spleen and
benefiting Vital Qi.Methods:Choose the model white rat of asthma sensitized with OA,observe the expression of ICAM-1 of the epithelial cell on the bronchial pulmonary alveolus,the active change of PLA 2 in BALF and blood plasma,and the quantity and category of the cells.Results: Compare with the contrast group,in the asthmatic group,the expression of bronchial epithelial cells ICAM-1 becomes strong obviously.The activity in BALF increases much evidently, the activity of PLA 2 in blood plasma also increases but it does not reach marked level.The cell count rises obviously and the increase of the eosinophilic granulocyte is especially more evident.We analyze the positive area of ICAM-1,the activity of PLA 2 and the cell count in BALF.They are related closely.The prescription and medicine of strengthening spleen and benefiting Vital Qi can notably reduce the expression of ICAM-1 and the contents of PLA 2 in BALF.Conclusions:ICAM-1 and PLA 2 play an very importent role in the course of inflammatory cell infiltration in asthmatic white rat's airway.Meanwhile they are closely related with each other.The prescription and medicine of strengthening spleen and benefiting Vital Qi can reform the airway state by reducing the contents of ICAM-1 and PLA 2.
