Effects of Catholen by Once IV Administration on Reducing Fibrinogen and Dissolving Thombus in Rabbi

Article Abstract by: TsingHua

This abstract was translated from 克塞灵单次给药对家兔降纤及溶栓作用
Aim:To study the effect of Catholen(Cath)by once iv administratin on reducing the content of fibrinogen and dissolving in
rabbits . Methods: The blood samples were elected from the heart of rabbits at 24,48 and 72 h respectively after Oath was administered into the vein of rabbits'ear, then the content of fibrinogen was measured. To observe the effects of dissolving thombus, the thombus was artificial made and weighted firstly, then the prepared thombus was transplanted into the man-made passage of blood circulation system of the experimental rabbits, the dissolving effects were observed through the artery-vein(A-V) and artery - artery( A - A) administration way in the same rabbits. Results: The resultsshowed that 0. 25u·kg-1 Cath given at 24 h, 0. 5 u·kg-1 Cath given at 24 and 48 h could reduce the content of fibrinogen significantly(P<0. 05) .Gompared with the controls, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and controls(P<0. 01) . In disolving thrombi, there was not a significant difference between the 0.25 and 0. 5u · kg-1 group(P>0. 05)and there was not a significant difference between A-V, A-A experimenteal method in dissolving thrombolysis in the same rabbits(P> 0.05). Conclusion: The results suggest that 0.25, 0. 5 u ·kg-1Cath once iv administration could reduce fibrinogen and dissolving thrombus effectively.
