This is about prevention and treatment of children's subclinical nenrotrophic toxicity causedby exposure of lead with Chinese
traditional medicine Fructus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae particle form (prescription consists of : Lycium chinese, Fructus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae, Concha Ostrea, Taurine). The studywas undertaken by measuring blood - lead of total 399 students at age 712 years old in a certain region,162 of them with blood lead greater than 20 μg/dL (0. 965 μmol/L) were randomly grouped into treatedgroup and
control group with 60 people of each, opened group with 42 people. Hemoglobin, stature,weight and vision were measured prior and after
taking medicine. In treated group blood biochemical andimmunological indexes (ALT, AST, BUN, Cr, igG, IgA, IgM) were examined prior and after takingmedicine. At the same bine, psychological test was taken is 60 students with higher blood lead (treatedgroup with 30 people and control group with 30 people prior and after taking medicine (select: demarkating, decoding, building blocks, remembering). Through synthesis and analysis, the resultsshowed an obvious descent of blood lead in treated group and opened group (P＜ 0.001 ) after onemonth treatment with this drug compared with prior taking this drug the blood lead is reduced by 50％.Hemoglobin and immunoglobulin are all raised (P＜ 0.001 ). The results of psychological test are obviously higher than control group. Result: Fructus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae particle form not only drops bloodlead, but also rises immune function and improves health and intellectual development of children. Thereisn't side effect on liver and kidney. It's safety.
