Objective:To observe the effect of “sheng mai”
injection on cardiac function of patients with ischemic heart disease(IHD).Methods:Fortyeight
cases of IHD were treated with “sheng mai”
injection 25￣30 ml per day for 2 weeks.The routine ECG,plasma lipids (PL) and some parameters of cardiac function were measured before and after treatment.Results:There was a restorative action for STT change (85%) and PL level was lower after treatment ( P <0 05).In addition,it could influence certain cardiac function,such as left ventricular ejection time(LVET),preejection period (PEP),ejection fraction(EF),isovolumetric contraction time(ICT),stroke volume (SV),cardiac output(CO),coronary artery perfusion pressure(CAP),endomyocardium survival rate (EVR),heart contraction index(HI),stroke volume index(SVI) and cardiac index(CI) (all P <0 05).On the other hand,there were correlation between the change in STT of ECG and isovolumetric relaxation time(IRT, r =-0 38),LVET( r =0 66),EVR( r =-0 62),CAP( r =-0 51),CI( r =-0 27),all P <0 05.Conclusions:“Sheng mai” injection can enhance
myocardial contractility,improve myocardial complicance and synergy,elevate coronary perfusion pressure,myocardial survival rate,EF and CI.Therefore,“sheng mai” injection is an effective drug for improving cardiac function.
