Objective To study the cytokines regulatory mechenism of the single (Ginseng, Angelica, Astragalus, Atractyolodes) and complex TCM tablets (RenShenYang-RongPian) and injection G-CSF on the chemotherapeutical mouse. Methods After the different medicine was used to the mouse in different groups. Cytokine's (IL-6, IL-12, EPO, G-CSF) concentration in mouse serum were tested by ELISA, IL-1 content in mouse serum and the cultured supernatants of mononuclear phagocytes were measured by thymocyte proliferation (MTT) method, NK cell activities were determined by NK killed K562 (MTT). Results The G-CSF, IL-12 concentration in mouse serum were increased by Ginseng. The IL-1 in cultured supernatants of mononuclear phagocytes and IL-12 concentration in mouse serum were enhanced by Angelica. Ginseng and Angelica could strengthen the NK cell activities. Astragalus and Atractyolodes could developed the IL-1 and IL-6 levels in mouse serum. The cytokine's (IL-1, IL-6, IL-12, EPO, G-CSF) concentration and NK cell activity of chemotherapeutical mouse would be regulated to the normal level by RenShenYangRongPian, but it wasn't the action together with many of single medicine. After injected the outside G-CSF, the mouse G-CSF, IL-12 concentration and NK activities were increased, but the changes of the mouse IL-1 IL-6 and EPO were not apparent. Conclusion TCM resisted the injury of chemotherapeutical mouse probably by adjusting many kinds of cytokines.
