The writing resources of
contemporary poetry have begun to turn their steps to physical contemporary life after several adjustments.The
contemporary poetic quality has gradually presented
difficult or extremely difficult characteristics in such a postmodern cultural context.In other words,
contemporary poets have gotten a great deal of courage and many approaches to testify the contemporary situation under the pressure of material and spiritual life,and created a poetic quality that made concessions.Moreover,the aesthetic turn of poetry derived from poets' abilities to deal with colloquial narrative.Zhang Deming's poems have appropriately expressed and identified the extremely difficult quality of contemporary life,and showed somewhat a special individual experience that mixed with a mass of monstrosity,trivialness and heterogeneousness.These poems have a postmodern style that presents such characteristics as cold,rigidity,gloom and irony,etc.By these writings,Zhang Deming had illustrated the possible limits and difficulties of contemporary poetry.
