To investigate the mechanism of
"Wind-Dispersing and Blood-Activating Decoction" in the treatment of ischemic cerebral injury,32
SD rats were equally randomized into group A with sham operation, group B,group C and group D.Except for group A,other groups were modeled into MCAO.Group B was given normal saline;group C was given
"Wind-Dispersing and Blood-Activating Decoction" at the dose of 0.15ml/kg;group D was given Nitrendpine at the dose of 2mg/kg by stomach perfusion.Twenty-four hours after reperfusion,
nerve function deficiency was assessed by Zausinger method;the volume of cerebral infarction was detected by TTC staining;gene expression of CINC was assayed by RT-PCR;PMN infiltration was measured according to the activity of MPO.Results:The indexes above improved more obviously in groups C and D than in group B,and group C than group D.It is suggested that the Decoctions mechanism in treating ischemic cerebral injury is to relieve reperfusion lesion, inhibit the gene expression of CINC and the activity of MPO.
