OBJECTIVE To study the protective effect and mechanism of drugs activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis on blood brain barrier injury of ischemic-reinfusion rats.METHODS Animal model of focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion were made by thread.138 female SD rats were divided into six groups:control group;preudo-surgery group; experimental1,2,3,4, group. The injury degree of neural function and natrate oxide,c-reactive protein;complement.Concentration in serum and homogenate of brain tissue at ischemic 2 h and reinfusion 24 h were determined.The pathologic changes were determined by electron microscope.RESULTS The degree of neural function injury of rats in experimental groups were less than control group ( P < 0.05 ).The concentration of CRP and Complement in serum and homogenate of brain tissue and NO in homogenate of brain tissue in experimental groups were lower than control group.NO concentration in experimental groups were higher than control group ( P < 0.05 ).Pathologic injury in experimental groups were less than control group.CONCLUSIONS Drugs activating blood circulation can decrease the blood brain barrier injury of focal ischemia-reinfusion rats.
