Objective: To study the effect and mechanism of Chinese medcine GuangXinKang(GXK)on
hemorrheology.So as to provid theoretical
guide for researching the mechanism of GXK in prevention and cure of atheroscleresis.Method: The rabbit′s model is established by feeding the cholesterol contained food for 12 weeks.All rabbits are divided four groups:normal group(N group),model group(M group),control group(C guoup)and treat group(T group).At the experiment beginning and the twelfth weekend,the items as follows are measured:(1)ratio of blood viscosity(RBV),ratio of plasma viscosity(RPV),hematocrit(HCT),red blood cell aggregation index(RAI).(2)platelet aggregation function(PAgF)and platelet adhesion(PAdF).Results: (1)Before the experiment,PAgF and PAdF of each group has not sigrificant difference( P> 0.05 ),but at the
experimental end,M group is higher than other three groups( P< 0.05 ).T group and C group have not significant difference( P> 0.05 ).(2)At the experimental end,RBV and RAI of C group and M group have not significant difference,but RPV and HCT of the two groups have significant difference( P> 0.05 ). Conclusion: GXK can significantly change
hemorrheology and in some items it better than Chinese medicine of Huexue Method.
