Objective:The chemical components of the
essential oil from Cinnamomum cassia Presl.were analyzed by GC-MS.Method:The
essential oil was extracted from Cinnamomum cassia Presl.by steam distillation,the components analyzed with the different kinds of capillary columns,the optimum separated and analytical conditions were researched,the amount of the components from the
essential oil were determinated by normalization method.The components separated were identified by GC-MS.Chromatographic conditions were:Capillary column SE-54(25 m×0 25 mm,0 25 μm);Column temperature 90 ℃(8 min)4 ℃·min -1 230 ℃(10 min);Split injection,split ratio 1∶50;Injector temperature 250 ℃;Flame ionization detector(FID);Detector temperature 250 ℃.Results:There are 37 components composed of about 92% of the total essential oil were separated and identified.Conclusion:The method is reliable,stabilize and good repeatability,this method can be applied to the analysis of the essential oil components was extracted from Chinese traditional medicine components.
