OBJECTIVE To study an accurate,simple and rapid method with capillary zone clectrophoresis (CZE) for the
determination of
Insulin injections.METHODS In CZE analysis,pH 7.8 0.05 mol·L -1 running phosphate buffer,a constant voltage 18 kV (current of 130~140 μA) and wave length 214 nm UV detector were used.Phenylbarbital was used as the internal standard.RESULTS In this experimental condition,the components in insulin
injection were separated completely,the retention times of insulin and the internal standard were 4.973 min ( RSD 0.66% n =10) and 5.621 min ( RSD 0.64% n =10) respectively.A good linearity was obtained between concentration and ratio of peak areas for insulin and the internal standard over the con range of 10~100 u·ml -1 .The recovery was 98.95% ( RSD 0.97% n =6) and RSD of three samples determined in a day and day to day were <1.5%( n =8) and <1.0% ( n =3) respectively.CONCLUSION The proposed CZE method can be used for the
determination of Insulin injection with satisfactory results and has same accuracy as HPLC,but more rapid and solvent-saving.
