Objective To understand the pathogen and their
sensitivity to antibacterial agents and investigate the
antibiotic therapy
in emergency patients with pulmonary infection Methods Forty-six cases with pulmonary infection of emergency patients from January 1998 to October 1998 were investigated on pathogens, sputum culture and drug suseptibility test Results Forty-nine point two percent of pathogens Gramnegative bacteria,20 3% ram positive bacteria,16 9% fungi,6 8% mycoplasma and 6 8% cytomegalovirus(CMV),39 strains of bacteria and 6 strains of fungus were isolated from sputum samples It revealed that the pathogen of patients were dominated by Gram negative bacteria, but there were to some degree increases in mycoplasma, fungus and virus
Antibiotic sensitivity test showed that the resistance of pathogen to the traditional first antibiotics was increased Synthetic and broadspectrum antibiotics were more sensitive Conclusions The drug sensitivity was higher in Vancomycin, aminoglycoside,Timentin and Tienam A more effective antibiotic management of emergency patients with pulmonary infection is very important It is necessary to begin a specific antibiotic therapy at the onset of definite pathogens <
