The body weight, levels of lipid
peroxidation and capability of antioxidant of the offspring rats affected by the
fluoridearsenic
joint were studied in a group of offspring rats exposed to
fluoridearsenic from embryonic period, with the purpose of observing the toxic action of the fluoridearsenic joint in offspring rats. The results showed that fluoride could affect the distribution of arsenic in the offspring rats; the fluoridearsenic joint had a little affection on the body weights, but it could significantly increase the levels of lipid
peroxidation and remarkably decrease the ability of antioxidont in offspring rats that had been exposed to fluoridearsenic from embryonic period;the fluoridearsenic joint couldnt affect the body weight, levels of lipid peroxidation and ability of antioxidant of the offspring rats that hadnt been exposed fluoridearsenic after weaning. The results suggested that the fluoridearsenic joint didnt have obvious toxicity in the offspring rats that hadnt been exposed to fluoridearsenic after weaning.
