The protective effect of
jujube dates polysaccharide(JDP)on chemical liver injury induced by CCl_4 in mice and the
antifatigue
effect were studied by two tests.In the first test,the mice were randomly divided into 5 groups:control group,
liver injury model group(The liver injury model was induced by CCl_4)and 100(Treatment Ⅰ),200(Treatment Ⅱ),400(Treatment Ⅲ)mg·kg~(-1) JDP.After 4 weeks,the serum ALT and AST activities were measured and pathological change in liver tissues was observed.In the second test,the mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:control group and 100(Treatment Ⅰ),200(Treatment Ⅱ),400(Treatment Ⅲ)mg·kg~(-1) JDP.After 4 weeks,the fatigue model was builded and muscle and liver glycogen content,lactic dehydrogenase(LDH)activity and blood urea nitrogen later(BUN)content were measured.The results showed that the activities of serum ALT and AST were significantly decreased compared with liver injury control group in the Treatment Ⅱ and Ⅲ.The pathological changes induced by CCl_4 in liver tissues were improved.JDP had remarkable effects on reservation of muscle and liver glycogen,LDH activity after exercise,but there was not effect on the BUN content.JDP had the protective effect on acute liver injury induced by CCl_4 in mice and antifatigue effect.
