OBJECTIVE:To study
consumptive amount of money of the drugs used for dermatosis in Guangdong province during the period 2000～2004,in
order to know its applicational tendency.METHODS: By collecting the data of drug purchase obtained from "Medication information network of the hospitals of pharmaceutical society in Guangdong province",
consumptive amount of money of the drugs used for dermatosis in some hospitals in Guangdong during the period 2000～2004 was made a statistical analysis.RESULTS&CONCLUSION: The
proportion of tota consumptive amount of money of the drugs used for dermatosis is basically stable but with a little bit decreased;the proportion of the drugs for external use also decreased.Drug constitution of each subgroup of drug used for dermatosis is relatively stable.antifungal drugs,antiviral drugs and antiallergic drugs have still been the main drugs used for dermatosis.The proportion of the drugs produced by foreign and joint venture enterprises is still high,so research for home-made drugs should be strengthened.
