Objective:To observe the effect of Qingan Huoxue decoction serum drug on proliferation and collagen synthesis in hepatic stellate cells.Methods:Hepatocyte and hepatic stellate cells were isolated form Wistar rats'livers.Cell proliferation ability was measured by ~3 H-TdR method.The enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay(ELISA) detected the content of type Ⅰ collagen.Results:Acetaldehyde can directly accelerate hepatic stellate cells proliferation and type Ⅰ collagen secretion.The same alteration of hepatic stellate cells was observed when cultured with the media pretreated with hepatocyte exposed to acetaldehyde.Various dosage of Qingan Huoxue decoction serum drug developed positive regulation of inhibiting hepatic stellate cells proliferation and type Ⅰ collagen secretion.Conclusion:Qingan Huoxue decoction prevented the process of liver fibrogenesis via interacting lipid peroxidation damage liver caused by acetaldehyde and directly preventing hepatic stellate cells proliferation and type Ⅰ collagen secretion.
